The Hip-Hop Theater Festival is committed to the creation, production, and presentation of Hip-Hop theater pieces that topically and constructively address contemporary, urban issues in the vernacular of today’s generation. Adults between the ages of 18 - 35 make up the Festival’s core audience, but the entire audience range represents an exceptionally wide expanse.

After curating the Festival intensively for the last several years, the time has come to open the flood gates and accept submissions from the Hip-Hop Theater community at large.

The Hip-Hop Theater Festival is now accepting submissions for its upcoming festival season. We are seeking ensemble plays, solo works, dance-theater and inter-disciplinary theater works. Applications received will be considered our 2009 season festivals in New York, The Bay Area, Chicago, and Washington D.C.
